Raupo (Bull Rush )

Our Reeds are made from old hand split totara or kauri fence battens. The reeds have a rustic look that may include patches of lichen and insect damage and splits.  The 8mm diameter mild steel rod is 1.8m long and designed to be pushed into the ground. The rod may be cut to the required length if required. 
The NZ native timber used is very durable and has no tanalised preservative treatment These reeds are finished with Danish oil to enhance the natural grain and colour. They will last for years with an annual light sand and re-oil.
